DETECTIVES are investigating after a man sustained facial injuries after being kicked in the head outside a Derry pub.
He sustained the injuries during a mob fight involving up to 15 people last month but details have only just been released.
Police say they are investigating the incident which they have described as a “violent disturbance.”

The incident occurred in Waterloo Street (pictured above) around 1 am on Monday, February 22.
A PSNI spokesperson said enquiries were “ongoing” and detectives are studying CCTV footage in and the pub in a bid to identify those involved.
The spokesperson added: “Detectives are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who has any information to contact officers in Strand Road on 101.
“Alternatively they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on freephone 0800 555 111.”
