A 23 year old man is in custody at Strand Road police station after he arrested following a raid on a house in Derry this afternoon.
The PSNi say that just after 1pm, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a proactive search in the Creggan area.
The searched revealed £3,700 worth of suspected cannabis.
The police say: “The 23 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug.
“This search and drug seizure is another example of our commitment to tackling illegal drugs in the area.
“Anyone with information about the use or supply of illegal drugs is encouraged to contact police on the non emergency number 101.
