WOMAN RESCUED FROM CRASHED CAR IN CLAUDY

FIRE crews rescued a woman from her crashed vehicle yesterday.

NIFRS say fire fighters from Strabane and Omagh stations responded to a report of a single car road traffic collision on the Urney Road near Claudy, Strabane.

“Crews used small tools to release a 37-year-old woman from the vehicle,” said an NIFRS spokesman.

“She was conveyed to hospital by ambulance.”
