SHOPS are on alert in Derry for fake notes.
It follows the arrest by police of a 19-year-old Last night.
He was held under the Counterfeit and Forgeries Act 1982.
The teenager was detained after counterfeit £20 bank notes were allegedly passed at a shop in the Altnagelvin area.
