A 26 year old man who was arrested in Co Derry yesterday by Major Investigation Team detectives probing Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of Paul McCauley in 2006 has been released unconditionally.
He was being questioned at Coleraine station for the past 24 hours.
The suspect was arrested in Coleraine on Tuesday, December 8.
Paul McCauley died in June this year nine years after he was viciously and brutally assaulted by a loyalist mob at a barbecue in the Waterside area of Derry.
