MISSING CO DERRY MAN FOUND ‘SAFE AND WELL’

Christopher-McKinstry1POLICE have called off a search for a missing Co Derry man after he was found safe and well.

Christopher McKinstry, 43, was reported missing on Thursday, November 5, after family members said they were becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

He had last been seen in the Tirkane area of Maghera around lunchtime on Thursday, November 5.

But on Friday morning, the PSNI said the search had come to an end and Mr McKinstry had been found safe and well.

A PSNI spokesman said: “Police can confirm that missing person Christopher McKinstry from Maghera has been found safe and well.

“Officers would like to thank members of the public and local community search and rescue teams for their assistance.”
