DAWN Colhoun has been announced as SuperValu Newbuildings’ finalist in the 2015 SuperValu SuperMums campaign.

Dawn, from Newbuildings, along with 35 SuperMum finalists will attend the final on September 30th at Parliament Buildings, Stormont when the overall SuperValu SuperMum 2015 will be announced.

She is among 36 inspirational mums from across the North who will be recognised at a prestigious ceremony at Parliament Buildings, Stormont on September 30th.

The local mums have been selected as finalists in the SuperValu SuperMums competition, sponsored by Magnum, Kellogg’s and Robinsons.

The campaign, which is now in its second year, was launched on Mother’s Day and received over 300 heart-warming nominations.

The judging panel included Sunday Life’s Martin Breen, U105’s Peter McVerry, TV personality Claire McCollum and representatives from SuperValu and sponsors Magnum, Kellogg’s and Robinsons.

The grand final will be hosted by TV personality Claire McCollum who will crown the overall SuperValu SuperMum 2015 and the winner will take home a family trip to Disneyland Paris, courtesy of Clubworld Travel, with each finalist receiving a pamper hamper.

Donna Morrison, Marketing Manager of SuperValu, said:  “We have been overwhelmed by the volume and standard of entries for this, our second SuperValu SuperMums competition. There were so many wonderful mums nominated, who take life’s day-to-day challenges in their stride and the people who nominated them were so proud to champion their efforts.”
