BLOOD DONORS NEEDED IN DERRY

Blood transfusionTHE Blood Transfusion NI is looking for donors in Derry.

It says it needs 200 new blood donors each and every week across the North.

And it is now asking the people of Derry to consider enrolling can give a life saving blood donoation.

You can do this through the enrol as a donor link on the NIBT  website, by giving them a call on 0500 534 666, or by texting BLOOD RWC to 60081.

“If you are already a donor we would ask for your help to encourage a friend, colleague or family member to enrol and further boost our numbers,” says NIBT.

The sessions start in Derry’ tomorrow, Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15.

They take place at the Guildhall, Guildhall Street, BT48 6DQ

Tomorrow’s sessions are from 1.30 pm to 4 pm and5.30 pm to 8 pm.

Tuesday’s sessions are on at the same time.

So if you have a spare few hours tomorrow or Tuesday, pop along and give some blood.

You could help to save a life.
