DERRY City have organised a friendly with Danske Bank Premiership side Warrenpoint Town for this Saturday, July 4.

Kick-of is 1 pm.

Peter Hutton’s side, who have a free weekend from Airtricity League Premier Division action, will travel to Milltown Playing Fields this weekend with trio Ryan McBride, Stephen Dooley and Seamus Sharkey all looking to get some much needed game time under their belts.

It will also help to sharpen the team’s match fitness.

The Candystripes next Airtricity fixture is against 10th place Bray Wanderers on Saturday, July 11 with a 5.45 pm kick-off.

Derry lie in nineth place just one point ahead of Bray.

In 18 league games, Hutton’s players have only scored 15 goals.
