HOOPY DAYS FOR TAMNAHERIN BHOYS AFTER 7-0 WIN TAKES THEM TOP

TamnaherinTAMS IN SEVENTH HEAVEN!!!

Tamnaherin Celtic 7 – 0 Tristar

Tams turned on the style in this must win match in Prehen and the rotten weather conditions couldn’t dampen the Tams’ performance as they took the game to Tristar from the start.

And it wasn’t long before they took the lead after a great ball from McGlinchy was met by big JR on the head which gave the keeper no chance 1-0.

Shortly after Gavin McShane made it 2-0 when he finished well from close range.

Tristar had no answer for the Lettershandoney attack and the Tams got another goal when Steven Duffy who was having a stormer slotted the ball home 3-0.

Manager Martin Doherty then made a change before halftime when he introduced Kevin ‘Sauce’ McWilliams to the game and inside a minute he had scored to make it 4-0.

Tams started the second half with much of the same and continued to push for more goals with manager Doherty really going for more.

Shea McConomy and Jarleth Canning were introduced and it wasn’t long before Canning set up McWilliams for number 5.

Canning then helped himself to two goals to complete the 7-0 win.

The victory takes Tamnaherin two points clear of HML in the Bentley Bar North West Saturday Morning League with just one game to go.

The Lettershandoney men now take on third-placed Hatmore Harps this Saturday knowing a win will give them the title.

If they slip up, second placed HML can take the title if they beat Art Deco.
