CRIME ALERT: DETECTIVES LOOKING FOR INFORMATION AFTER FORD FIESTA BURNT OUT

Detectives at Strand Road in dry are appealing for information about recent burglaries. burnedcar

Detective Constable Richard Donnell said that in one incident, a car was stolen.
“Sometime between 11.30pm on March 4 and 7.30am the next day, the keys of a car were stolen from a house at Copperthorpe in Drumahoe.

The black Ford Fiesta was found burnt out at Cosquin Road at about 7.30pm.

“In another incident, a resident returned to a house at Dunvale Park at about 10.30pm on March 4 and found that it had been broken into, though nothing was stolen.

“On the same night a resident disturbed an intruder at Malone Park in the Waterside at about 9pm on March 4.”
Police also received reports that a house at Glenmore Park was broken into on Saturday was stolen.
And a ‘Diamond Back’ mountain bike was stolen from a locked shed in the Bracken Park area of Londonderry.  The bicycle was removed between 1am and 6am on Saturday and is described as having a black frame with splashes of red, 27 speed and valued at £500.
