crime-alert-300x220Detectives at Strand Road in Derry are appealing for information about a two more break-ins.

There were burglaries at a cycle sales business and a florist shop, just the latest break-ins during a citywide crime wave.

The premises at Edenreagh Road, Drumahoe, were entered on Saturday night or the early hours of Sunday, say police.

Detective Constable Richard Donnell said a considerable quantity of branded motorcycle equipment.

“These items included ‘Wulfsport’ helmets, goggles and gloves and a quantity of NGK spark plugs,” he said.

“We are keen to hear from anyone with information about the burglary, or knowledge of the stolen items.”

And police are also appealing for information about a burglary at a florist’s shop at Springtown shopping centre.

Money was stolen and the shop was ransacked over the weekend.

Information can be given to police by calling the 101 non-emergency number, or via the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
