Sinn Fein Cllr Kevin Campbell.

Sinn Féin Councillor Kevin Campbell has welcomed the news that homes in the Rinmore Drive area of Creggan are to receive priority status for the provision of new windows.

He said: “After receiving a series of complaints from a large number of residents regarding the state of the windows in their homes I have been lobbying senior management in the Housing Executive to have them replaced.

“The District Manager has been in contact to inform me that Rinmore Drive will now be given priority status for a window replacement scheme in their budget of 2015 – 2016 and will replace the wooden windows with white PVC windows.

“She has assured me that when a date is fixed to start the scheme she will inform me and in return I will keep residents up to date .

“If anyone has  queries regarding this information please do not hesitate  contacting me on 028 7137 7551.”
