THE PSNI in the North West (what’s left of them after all the cutbacks) have warned motorists to continue to drive with care after fresh overnight snow.
However a weather warning expires at 11am.
Rural areas of Co Derry are the worst affected.
However Transport NI has been gritting most routes around the county and most roads are passable with care.
It follows a number of minor road traffic incidents earlier this morning.
It will remain cold today, before a thaw tomorrow.
However forecasters now believe there will be fresh snow in the North West from Saturday night and into Sunday.
