Eoin Bradley: Close to making Derry return and could feature against Donegal next weekend.

Former Donegal manager McIver takes his Derry side to Mac Cumhaill Park next Saturday in the opening fixture of the Allianz National League.

The game will be screened live on Setanta Ireland from 7pm next weekend.

But all are eyes are on Eoin Bradley who’s expected to return after being dropped from the panel last season because he refused to give up his soccer commitments with Coleraine.

At the time McIver said it was impossible for him to focus on both and gave him an ultimatum.

Bradley chose to remain with Coleraine and didn’t feature for Derry at all in 2014.

However, he has since joined Glenavon on a two-year contract since the row, but manager Brian McIver welcomed Bradley back into the squad for the 2015 campaign and have put their fall-out last year to one side.

Bradley will continue to play with Gary Hamilton’s Glenavon side but will also feature for Derry.

Bradley’s is expected to feature off the bench for Derry in the Allianz League and will then be in contention to start in the Ulster Championship as the Irish League season finishes at the end of April.

Derry fans will be boosted by the news and will be looking forward to seeing Bradley back in action.
