A WANTED criminal has been sent to jail after being nabbed by the PSNI in Derry.
City Centre Police say they raided a property yesterday and seized a variety of drugs.
“We then carried out a Court Bail check which resulted in a breach of bail and a positive drugs detection,” said a Foyle PSNI spokesman.
“The person concerned has been sent straight to prison for a month.”
Police also dealt with a number of other incidents.
“Straight after that we dealt with disorderly behaviour in the city centre. There are plenty more examples of the local community refusing to ignore this behaviour and contacting Police,” said the spokesman.
“We in the City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team will always try to action the information coming in so we can keep our city centre safe and welcoming.”
