RENEWED APPEAL OVER BOGSIDE YOUTH CLUB BREAK-IN

The inside of the club after the break-in

Sinn Féin Councillor Patricia Logue has made an renewed plea for anyone who has information about a break-in at the Youth First project in Bogside on Christmas Eve to bring it forward

Said Patricia: “The break-in at the club on Christmas Eve was a blow to both staff who work there and users of the facility. It’s terrible that people would target a facility in an area, like the Bogside, which has so few.

“Because it took place over the holidays and many people may not even know it has even happened I am making a renewed appeal for the return of the stolen items which included a laptop, a number of Apple Macs and games consoles.

“I would call on anyone who knows where these goods are to bring the information forward so that they can be returned to the youth club immediately. The equipment allows the youth club to provide an invaluable service to the young people of the area and should be returned immediately.”
