FLIGHTS RESUME AT CITY OF DERRY AIRPORT

City of Derry Airport.

Flights in and out of City of Derry Airport have resumed after the early morning flights were affected by fog.

The 7.35am flight from Liverpool had to be diverted to George Best City Airport in Belfast with passengers transferred to Derry by bus.

Passengers departing on the 8.00am return flight were bussed to the Belfast Airport.

However since then, this morning’s flight from London Stansted touched down at Derry, albeit 25 minutes late, with the return flight departing just under an hour behind schedule.
