GOLF NEWS: QUARTER-FINAL DRAW MADE FOR NORTH WEST WINTER LEAGUE

northwestgolfclubThe draw for the quarter-finals of the Winter League at the North West Golf Club, Lisfannon, as resulted in what appears to be four very competitive ties.

The line-up is:

Patrick Duffy & Jimmy McGee v PJ Mc Carron & Kevin Callaghan

Eamon Quigley & Vincent Quigley v Stewart McGinley & Kevin McKinney

Lee Gallagher & Sean McCloskey ‘V’ Kevin O’Donnell & Joe Rahim

Ciaran Quigley & Kevin Mc Gowan v Raymond Gallagher & Ray Gallagher (Jnr)

Christmas Fayre this weekend

This weekend sees the Christmas Fayre Competition on offer on both Saturday and Sunday.

McGinley on top

Summer like conditions greeted the golfers at North West the Christmas Fayre competition at the weekend.

Four handicapper Stewart McGinley took full advantage to post a winning score of 42 points.

In second place, just onepoint adrift, was 17 handicapper David Robb.

C.S.S. was Non- Qualifying.
