digitalDigital businesses in the Derry City Council area are being asked to take part in a survey aimed at helping to identify their needs.

The findings of the survey will form part of a report that will contribute to the basis for the current Growing the Digital Economy Programme and future programmes in the Derry City Council area. The Growing the Digital Economy programme is part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland.

Aeidin McCarter, Investment Officer with Derry City Council, encouraging local businesses to participate in the survey, said it was an important opportunity for businesses in the local area to get involved and have their say on the city’s digital agenda.

She explained: “A local company have been commissioned on behalf of Derry City Council to contact companies to find out about the digital aspects of their work, what digital tools they need to make their businesses better and how Council can help them make their businesses more efficient and digitally competent.”

Anyone with any queries about the survey is asked to contact Aeidin McCarter directly at [email protected].
