derrycitymascotDerry City are inviting local children to enter a competition to design the club’s new mascot.

The winner will get a “match day experience” for themselves along with  their class or youth club to unveil the new mascot to the Brandywell faithful as well as a trip to the Brunswick Moviebowl.

The competition is open to schools, youth clubs and all young people under 12 years of age.

Designs can be submitted through school, youth club or directly to the Candystripe Store in the Brandywell.

All entries will be judged on originality, appeal to young people, and how well it represents Derry City Football Club.

The closing date for entries is 30 November next.
