John Quigg: Derry City Reserves team boss.

Derry City Reserves threw away a two goal lead to lose to Swilly Rovers in the semi-final of the Ulster Senior League’s League Cup.

George Kelly and Ryan Doherty put John Quigg’s side ahead but Swilly fought back with two goals from Laurence Toland and third from Calvin Mooney to book their place in the final against Cockhill Celtic.

The Buncrana side, managed by former Derry City striker, remain on course for a cup double after also coming from behind to beat Letterkenny Rovers in the other semi.

A Darren McElwaine penalty put Rovers in front shortly before half-time but Benny McLaughlin equalised in the 86th minute before substitute scored a dramatic winner for the Inishowen side four minutes into injury time.
