Gerry Gill: brought Cockhill level.

Finn Harps are through to the next round of the FAI Cup but Buncrana side Cockhill Celtic are out.

Harps defeated Leinster Senior League side Belgrove/Home Farm 1-0 at Frank Cooke Park, Pat McCann scoring the all-important goal in the eighth minute.

Ulster Senior League champions Cockhill put up a great performance away to Airtricity Premiership side Drogheda United.

The home side went ahead through Declan O’Brien but former Derry City midfielder Gerry Gill brought the Inishowen side level with a penalty.

Gerard McLaughlin put Donal O’Brien’s side in front early in the second half but last year’s beaten finalists fought back with goals from Declan O’Brien (two) and Gavin Houlihan to go into the hat for the third round draw.
