burglarThieves got away with heating boilers, cash and a number of domestic appliances during a series of burglaries in the Waterside area of Derry yesterday.

Central heating boilers were stolen from to adjoining houses in Moore Street yesterday morning.

Later in the day, a sum of money was stolen during a burglary at a house at Duncastle Road in Newbuildings.

A cooker, television and washing machine were stolen, along with copper piping, during a break-in at a flat at Crannog Park in Strathfoyle last night.

A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone with information to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, it can be provided to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
