David Robb (16) coped best with the difficult wind that blew across the “Links” to win the Sunday Club Stableford at North West Golf Club.
Two “nines” of 19 points each was enough to secure first place by one shot from Ciaran Quigley who finished second with 37 points on a countback with in-form Lee Gallagher (12), whose double-bogey at the par fourth 12th cost him first place.
Best gross of the day was an eight over 78 by Mark Davies which included a ugly triple-bogey seven at the fifth hole.
The back nine winner with 20 pts was Ray Gallagher Jnr.
C.S.S. was 36 pts.
