DERRY TAXI FIRMS INCREASE FARE CHARGES

Fares at two of Derry’s largest taxi companies will cost more from today.

Minimum fares with City Cabs and TaxiCo have gone up 30p, from £2.50 to £2.80.

Incremental charges will also be added to fares depending on the distance travelled.

The last time City Cabs introduced fare increases was back in October 2007.
