cityofderrygolfclubEddie Porter (16) had a welcome return to the winner’s enclosure at City of Derry yesterday with a well compiled 42 points – a score despite two double bogeys and a blank.

Needless to say, he also took home the top prize in the Glen Bar Society outing that was running at the same time.

Runner up on the day was Aaron Taylor (2) with an absolutely faultless best of the day 67 gross and 42 points.

Coming on the heels of his gross prize the previous day Aaron is surely destined for an outstanding season.

Ben Leonard (7) finished in third place with 41 points and continues to make the headlines with his unique achievement of having twos on all four par threes in his tremendous round that has surely set another record at Prehen.

Best of the ladies on the day was Mary O’Doherty (33) who scored 32 points, her 20 points on the back nine giving her the verdict on a count back.
