An incredible ten birdies in only 13 holes gave the team led by John Chambers an unassailable winning margin of more than three strokes in the pre Masters Scramble at City of Derry Golf Club on Sunday.
John’s partners on the day were newcomers Stephen Doherty and Anthony Faulkner, along with Prehen’s Lady Captain Marie Clifford, making a winning start to her year in Office.
Second place also had a lady, Monica Allan, in their side and she was the mainstay in their performance with a magical putting display.
Helping Monica were Brian Long, Sean McKane and Eric Watson.
