Three people have been arrested by police investigating the murder of a Derry man in England at the weekend.
William O’Hara (60), originally from Castlerock, died following an “altercation” in Yorkshire.
The incident occurred at the Thurnscoe Coronation Working Men’s Club in Stuart Street, Barnsley, at 5.00pm on Sunday.
Mr O’Hara died later in hospital from his injuries.
A post mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
A 53-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder is being questioned by detectives.
A 38-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of burglary and perverting the course of justice, and a 33-year-old woman. detained on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, have been released on police bail.
