BIG-HEARTED SCHOOLGIRL CUTS IT TO HELP SICK CHILDREN

annamooreA big hearted Derry schoolgirl who donated her long locks to the making of wigs for children who lose their hair used the occasion to fundraise for the children’s ward at Altnagelvin Hospital.

Anna donated her beautiful locks to the Little Princess Trust who will use the hair to make wigs for children losing their hair.

She also raised £750 through sponsorship from friends and family for the Children’s Ward at Altnagelvin.

Anna is pictured with her mother, Rosemary, presenting the cheque Children’s Ward staff, Neil Corrigan, Paediatric Consultant; Cathy Grady, Play Specialist; Kerry Kerrigan, Epilepsy Nurse; Sara Lawson, Paediatric Registrar and Caroline O’Kane, Staff Nurse.
