Derry school girl Rachael O’Connor needs your help to stay in the TV talent show “The Voice.”

In tonight’s quarter-final – screened live on BBC One – the Limavady Grammar School student lost out to Jamie Johnson as pop superstar Kylie Minogue’s “Fast Pass” to next week’s semi-final.

The Drumsurn 17-year-old – the youngest contestant left in the competition – now depends on the public vote to progress.

Following her rendition of “Shine a Light,” Rachael appealed to viewers to vote for her.

She said: “Please pick up the phone…. I won’t let you down.”

Voting begins when tonight’s show ends at 8.40pm.

The results will be announced in tonight’s second show which will begin 10 minutes later at 8.50pm.
