Junior Minister Jennifer McCann has visited a number of Waterside groups who provide early intervention and support services to children and parents.

Sinn Féin Councillor Bridget Meehan, who accompanied Ms McCann, commended the “great work” being done by the groups and said that early intervention was a key priority for OFMdFM (Office of First Minister and Deputy First Minister).

She added: “The Department has put in place new funding streams to help groups delivering early intervention services.”
