St Pat’s Maghera came from behind at half time to retain the MacRory Cup with a 1-12 to 1-8 win over Omagh CBS at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh this afternoon.
Conan McElduff’s goal saw the Co Tyrone school lead 1-5 to 0-6 at the break but St Pat’s took control in the second period with Danny Tallon’s 44th minute strike proving decisive.
Points from Jack Doherty, Conor Cassidy, Conor Convery and Tallon had kept the Co. Derry boys in touch at the break.
