NHL DIV 2A: ROGAN MAKES THREE CHANGES TO DERRY SIDE TO FACE LONDON IN CELTIC PARK

Derry’s hurlers are boosted by the return of captain Ruairi Convery for today’s National Hurling League Division 2A clash with London at Celtic Park (throw-in 12.30pm).

Manager Ger Rogan has made three changes to the side who recorded a comfortable away victory over Westmeath last time out.

Banagher’s Sean McCullagh and Ballinascreen’s Aaron Kelly join Convery in the starting line-up with with Jonathan O’Dwyer, Eugene McGuckin and Chrissy Convery making way.

The Derry team is:

Darrell McDermott (Beannchar); Michael Warnock (Suaitreach), Sean McCullagh (Beannchar), Anton Rafferty (Eoghan Rua); Ruairi McCloskey (Beannchar), Liam Hinphey (Chaoímhín Uí Loínsigh), Kevin Hinphey (Chaoímhín Uí Loínsigh); Oisin McCloskey (Beannchar), Stefan McCloskey (Beannchar); Brendan Rogers (Leacht Néill), Patrick McCloskey (Chaoímhín Uí Loínsigh); Alan Grant (Na Magha); Dermot O’Neill (Leamhaigh), Ruairi Convery (Suaitreach), Aaron Kelly (Baile na Scríne).

Substitutes: Barry Robinson (Na Magha), Cathal McQuillan (Suaitreach), Malachi O’Hagan (Suaitreach), Niall Farren (Beannchar), Eugene McGuckin (Suaitreach), Tiarnan McCloskey (Beannchar), Paul Cleary (Baile na Scríne), Jonathan O’Dwyer (Beannchar), Chrissy Convery (Suaitreach), Tommy McCloy (Suaitreach), Seamus McFerran (Suaitreach).

The game is part of a double header at Celtic Park and will be followed at 2.30pm by Derry’s senior footballers National Football League Division One clash with Westmeath.
