There has been a serious road accident in the Strabane area.
The three-vehicle collision occurred at Mulvin Road approximately one mile from Milltown around 5.00pm.
It is understood there have been a number people injured.
Derry Daily sources said staff at the Accident and Emergency Department at Altnagelvin Hospital had been informed to expect a number of casualties.
Part of the road has been closed and diversions are in place on the Old Bridge Road.
There are no further details at this stage.
