GAA: EOIN BRADLEY LEFT OUT OF DERRY MCKENNA CUP SQUAD

Derry senior football manager Brian McIver has named his squad for the upcoming McKenna Cup.

As expected, McIver has omitted long-serving Eoin Bradley after the Glenullin forward decided to continuing playing for Coleraine in the Irish Premiership.

No players from Ulster champions Ballinderry are included as they Derry champs are due to play in the All Ireland Club Championship Final in February.

Derry will open their campaign away to Monaghan on Sunday 5 January before hosting Fermanagh at Owenbeg a week later.

They weil complete their group qualifying games at home to St Marys on Wednesday 15 January,

The Derry squad is:
