Police investigating how a 52-year-old man sustained injuries in the Park area at the in the early hours of yesterday have issued a further appeal for information.
A PSNI spokesperson said detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw a male wearing a dark fleece and trousers in the area of Altnagelvin Hospital and the pathway leading to Lisnagelvin retail park between 4.00am and 9.00am on that day.
