Over 40 exhibitors will set up at the Derry CIty Council organised event in the iconic building from 15-17 November to offer the North West’s largest range of contemporary and traditional crafts for sale.

Mayor Cllr Martin Reilly said he was delighted the city would kick off the festive period with the 19th annual Craft Fair, offering Christmas consumers the chance to browse and purchase something that little bit different in a unique and radiant shopping experience in the heart of the city.

He added: “The annual Craft Fair marks the start of a series of Winter events in the city in the run up to the festive period, and once again the quality of the local and Ireland wide produce and craftsmanship are outstanding, these talented crafts people are getting ready to welcome in excess of 4,000 of visitors to the Fair over the three day weekend.”

Derry is set to see out its incredible year as City of Culture with a host of Winter festivities planned, set to transform into a City of Light with events such as Festival of Trees, Christmas Light Switch On and Lumiere spectacular as well as the return of the enchanting Christmas Market, now is the perfect time to come and visit the magical City of Culture.”

The Craft Fair  will be open from 2.00pm to 8.00pm on Friday, 10.00am to 6.00pm on Saturday and 11.00am – 5.00pm on the Sunday.
