STOLEN CAR INVOLVED IN TWO COLLISIONS

Police in Derry are appealing for information about a car that was involved in two collisions after it was stolen in the Greenhaw area of the city last night.Van torced

The car, a maroon Ford Fiesta, registration NUI 1013, was taken from a property in the Hampstead Park area sometime between 6.00pm and 10.30pm and was later involved in two minor collisions on the Creggan Road at 10.30pm and Rossville Street at 12.25am before being abandoned.

A PSNI spokesperson said anyone with information should contact police on 0845 600 8000 or a member of your their Neighbourhood Team directly, details of which can be found on the PSNI website.

The spokesperson added: “Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
