Eoghan Stokes and Gerardo Bruna have both signed for the club on one-year deals, while Cole has has returned to the club, having taken time away to consider his options after the end of the 2018 campaign.

The 27-year-old Scot signed mid-way through the 2017 season and played the next two seasons primarily at centre-half, with spells at full-back and central-midfield.

Darren Cole has returned to the club, having taken time away to consider his options after the end of the 2018 campaign. The 27-year-old Scot signed mid-way through the 2017 season and played the next two seasons primarily at centre-half, with spells at full-back and central-midfield.

Cole has appeared 50 times for the Candystripes, scoring three times, including a vital goal in Finn Park against neighbours Finn Harps. He returns on a one year deal.

Eoghan Stokes joins the club on a one year deal, having spent the 2018 season with Bohs. The U19 international started his career with St Kevin’s Boys and moved to England with Leeds United. He moved to Dalymount last season and appeared 22 times for the Gypsies, scoring 3 times.

Gerardo Bruna joins the club, having spent time in England, Spain and Canada.

The 28 year old spent his youth career with Real Madrid, before moving to Liverpool to sign his first professional contract.

He didn’t make the break through at the Reds, but was part of their Reserve side that won the Premier League in 2007-08.

He moved to Blackpool before returning to Spain to play with Huesca.

The midfielder has spent recent years with Ottawa Fury in the USL, where he was a teammate of former Candystripe Shane McEleney for a period.

He played over 30 times for the Fury over the last two seasons.

The Candystripes get their campaign underway against UCD on February 15th.
