THORNHILL COLLEGE SIGNS UP TO COUNCIL’S SCIENCE AND INNOVATION AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME

thornhill collegeTHORNHILL College pupils who recently signed up to Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Science and Innovation Ambassador Programme 2015/16.

They are pictured along with, from left, Roisin Crawford from STEM Aware who facilitated the training session, Thornhill College Principal Marguerite Hamilton, Elsa Edwards, Derry City and Strabane District Council, and Michael McCloskey , teacher with the Engineering department at Thornhill College.

The Science and Innovation team aims to provide as many opportunities as possible for people to get involved with them.

The Ambassador Programme will give opportunity for people to get on the front lines of event, inspire others and to get inspired.

The programme will support the ambassadors in training and offer advice on their own career potential.
