Man charged after drugs and cash seized

A MAN is to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court after he was charged with drugs offences.

Police Derry City and Strabane say: “Yesterday, as a result of partnership working with Derry & Strabane PCSP Foyleside and Moor Neighbourhood Team arrested a male in the area of Brook Park for drug dealing.

“A significant amount of Class B drugs were seized from this male.

“During a follow up search of a property in the city further drugs and £2,000 in cash were seized.

“The male has been charged to appear at court in relation to a range of drugs offences and possession of criminal property.

“Drugs have no place in our city and those involved can expect to feel the full force of the law.
