SOME pupils will return this week to St Joseph’s Boys School in Derry’s Creggan.
Last week, the school told pupils to stay at home for two weeks because of the number of positive Coronavirus cases reported in the school community.
St Joseph’s Boys School informed parents that all teaching would be done online for the fortnight, with the school planning to reopen again on Monday, November 23.
However, the school has announced it is welcoming back pupils sooner than it expected.
It says on its Facebook page: “Year 12 and year 14 pupils will be back on Thursday, November 12.
“All other pupils will be back Monday, November 16, unless they have been informed to Isolate.”
