Sinn Fein Foyle MLA Karen Mullan

SINN Féin’s Karen Mullan has condemned disturbances at the interface close to the Fountain estate in Derry.

Said the Foyle MLA: “I condemn last night’s disturbances at the interface close to The Fountain estate.

“There can be no place for attacks like this in our society.

“Everyone should be able to live in their homes free from fear of attack.

“I would appeal to anyone involved in these actions to stop immediately and think about the consequences.

“I have spoken with youth leaders who are working with young people in the area.

“I have also been in contact with the PSNI to discuss the incidents and will continue to work to ensure they are not repeated.”
