FRIENDS star Courteney Cox was in Derry yesterday to be there for her fiancé Johnny McDaid of the band Snow Patrol as he was honoured for his contribution to music in his native city.
Johnny, 41, is best known for his role in Snow Patrol, but has also written songs for Ed Sheeran, P!nk and Robbie Williams.
During an event at the Guildhall yesterday as 53-year-old Courteney proudly looked on, Johnny was presented with an award in recognition of his achievements in music by the Mayor of Derry and Strabane, Maoliosa McHugh.
Johnny and Courteney announced their engagement in 2014, and reunited following a brief split in 2016.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the pair were househunting in Derry.
They currently divide their time between London and LA.
There has also been speculation that the couple are set to tie the knot in Northern Ireland next month.
Snow Patrol’s seventh studio album, Wildness, is due to be released on May 25.
