DISSIDENT terrorists behind a wave of attacks and threats against Sinn Féin have been condemned after threatening to attack the sick mother of MEP Martina Anderson.
Ms Anderson’s 90-year-old mother is suffering from Alzheimers.
FOUR separate bomb warnings were made claiming there was a device at the MEP’s home where family members help care for the politician’s mum.
“My family will not be intimidated. We re all caring for our 90-year-old mother with Alzheimers,” said Ms Anderson.
The threats came on the same day a Sinn Fein member Gerard Jock Davison was shot dead in front of children in Belfast.
A Sinn Fein MLA in Down also received death threats – and the home of Martin McGuinness was also attacked in Derry.
Republicans are furious at the threats and attacks from micro-dissident groups.
The threats to Mrs Anderson have been widely condemned.
