Police have just announced tonight that two teenagers arrested on Saturday morning over her murder last Thursday night were tonight, Sunday, April 21, were release unconditionally.
Suspects arrested under the Terrorism Act cannot be released on bail.
Hundreds and hundreds of people are expected to turn out for her funeral at St Anne’s Cathedral in Donegall Street on Wednesday, April 24, at 1 pm.
Lyra will be buried afterwards in Carnmoney Cemetery, Co Antrim.
The 29-year-old journalist was from the Ardoyne area of North Belfast.
But she recently moved to Derry where she was living with her partner Sara Canning before she was cruelly robbed of her life by dissident republican kilers.
