TENS of thousands of people watched in awe last night as a double helping of fireworks lit up the night sky over Derry.
Crowds thronged along the quay to watch the Festival Voyages along the river.
It was all part of the the week-long Foyle Maritime Festival organised by Derry City and Strabane District Council.
Mayor John Boyle said: “What an amazing night at the Voyages Showcase Finale and Parade of Light.
“Over 30,000 people lined the Quay to enjoy the superb illuminations, animation aerial performances as part of @foylemaritime The fireworks display was phenomena

The festival continues today, Saturday and on Sunday.
