THE Fire Service say it attended bonfire related incidents last night.
They were called out to bonfires in Derry city and Limavady.
Across the North, the NIFRS said of the 123 calls it had received on Monday from 6 pm 42 were bonfire related.
Firefighters had to intervene at 16 of those fires.
The worst incident was fires at two homes in west Belfast.
Embers from a loyalist bonfire were carried on the wind and set fire to terraced homes.
The two properties at Hopewell Square in the Shankill, which had their windows and doors boarded up already, were gutted.
A third home was damaged.
Police had to smash in doors to rescue the occupants.
Fire crews on high rise platforms stopped the blaze from spreading to further homes in the street.
The huge blaze has now led to calls for a review of building bonfires so near to homes.
