MASS TONIGHT IN ROME IN MEMORY OF SISTER CLARE CROCKETT
A Mass will be celebrated in Rome tonight, Tuesday, April 26, for Sister Clare Crockett and for the five postulants who have died in Ecuador.
Fr. Peter Dittus, Servant Priest of the Home of the Mother order will preside at the Mass which will be celebrated at 6.30 pm.
Sr Crockett’s order said: “You are all invited to join us with your presence, if you are in Rome, or with your prayers.
“It will be at the Church of San Petronio e San Giovanni Evangelista, Via del Mascherone 61.”
A Mass was celebrated last night in Jacksonville in Florida, USA for Sr Clare and the five postulants.
Sr. Clare was stationed at Assumption Parish for several years before going to Ecuador to do God’s work with the poor and disadvantaged.
It is expected that Sr Clare’s remains will be returned home from the USA to her family in Derry later this week for her Requiem Mass.
